Each month, we celebrate films that capture the power of youth-driven storytelling, spanning animation, live-action, and documentary filmmaking. With 60 diverse categories, we welcome a wide range of storytelling styles and perspectives. Selected films will be featured in our monthly showcases, earning official Bright Minds laurels, certificates, and recognition on our website. Monthly winners will advance to the year-end grand festival, where standout films are celebrated and honored, with cash prizes awarded to the most outstanding works.

A portion of every submission fee supports the Bright Minds Filmmaker Grant, designed to empower young creators with funding for their storytelling journey. Each month, a percentage of fees goes toward scholarships that will be awarded at the end-of-year festival.
